What is Youth Central?
Youth Central is an Alberta based non-profit that encourages youth participation in their communities. Through volunteerism, Youth Central motivates youth leadership and provides tools for young people to become future leaders.
Youth Central values the power and importance of the youth voice and the role youth play in our society. Youth central wants to see a city where all youth participate in shaping a vibrant community.
How Can I Help?
With your recycling! Youth Central relies on donations to continue to provide programming for youth in Alberta. Use SkipTheDepot to book a free pickup and donate your bottles & cans as well as used clothing in return for a tax receipt. SkipTheDepot services residential, commercial, condo, apartments and bottle drives!
Donating Using SkipTheDepot Is Easy
- Download our app on Google Play, the App Store, or register online
- Enter your address and select Youth Central as your donation preference
- Put your bags out for the driver or wait around and hand them off
- That’s It! Collect a tax receipt at the end of the year
Their communication regarding pickups is really great. They let you know when they are coming ahead of time and you tell them what location on your property to pick your bags up from. This is great because people steal bottles from our area all the time. They did a great job! This is such an awesome idea!!! Love how easy-to-use the app is and how smooth it all works. I always dread the depot days and wait way too long… this makes my life easy and the money goes to a good cause like AARCS in my case thank you! Now with awesome bags!
